John P. Barron
President
John Barron is a construction industry executive with more than 28 years of diverse experience. He has directed many major projects in the region while also serving the profession through a variety of education and policy initiatives. Mr. Barron has overseen many large-scale government construction projects as well as facilities within the higher education, office/commercial, R&D, healthcare, and residential markets. He is active in a number of industry organizations, holds degrees from both UVA and VPI&SU, and served on active-duty for seven years in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Barron's impressive track record in the Washington area includes such notable construction projects as the Columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery, FDR Memorial Forecourt, the renovation of the Jefferson Memorial, the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center, the George Washington University replacement hospital, the Columbia Plaza office tower renovation for GSA, an addition to the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center at Bolling AFB, Portals III Office Building, Bell Lincoln Multi-Cultural Jr./Sr. High School, and new pedestrian bridges along the south terrace of the Pentagon.
