Foulger-Pratt’s commitment to the redevelopment of downtown Silver Spring has spanned several years and included many acclaimed projects. A dynamic new retail core has been a central component of the urban revitalization, involving new infrastructure; a variety of restaurant, retail, and entertainment venues; ample parking; and an expansive public plaza. The public-private venture was developed in three phases on a fee basis for Montgomery County. The project included the restoration of the historic Silver Theatre, a cherished community landmark.
