About Me

Kofi Meroe has over 12 years of commercial real estate development experience, including six years with Foulger Pratt. He has been involved with the development of assets valued over $500 million and has entitled over 2.4 million square feet of combined commercial and residential real estate, directing all aspects of the development life cycle for a variety of transactions and product types. As a Director of Development, Kofi works closely with the SVP of Development to manage all phases of the development process including obtaining local approvals and managing the design, financing, construction, and lease-up phases through stabilization.

Prior to joining Foulger Pratt, Kofi specialized in the development of affordable housing, utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credit financing, and partnerships with government agencies to create and preserve quality affordable housing communities. Kofi is an active member of the Housing Association of Non-Profit Developers, and an executive board member of the Pike District Partnership, a community organization with a mission to lay the foundation for a Business Improvement District in North Bethesda. Kofi was born in the United States but raised mostly in West Africa. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst – Isenberg School of Management and has been an active resident of the District of Columbia since 2011.
